Tirthankar has had over two decades of corporate experience in Enterprise IT Management at top tier organizations such as IBM, HP and Sun Microsystems (now Oracle). He has held various leadership roles, led large teams, managed the delivery of highly complex technology solutions with multi-million dollar budgets. A significant period of Tirthankar’s corporate IT experience has been in the Banking and Financial Services industry. He has a PhD in Machine Learning and academic publications in the field to his name.  He continues to be closely attuned to the world of AI which has been his passion for over 25 years. During his PhD research Tirthankar investigated and solved the problem of how a machine learning system in an industrial scenario can be designed to acquire the most useful data by interacting intelligently with its environment and to simultaneously learn its objectives in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
